Ennistymon Book Town 2016

2016‘s festival will take place over the June bank holiday weekend, June 4th & 5th.

You can download the programme here.

Our programme of eclectic literary events aims to inspire & delight, and includes a variety of family-friendly events. The festival engages the local community and visitors in Co Clare’s rich and diverse literary culture.  Novelists, poets and non-fiction writers of all kind attend – you just might get the chance to meet your favourite writer!

As part of the festival, pop-up bookshops appear throughout the town – stocking antiquarian collectibles,  paperback fiction, poetry, bargain new books, books of local interest. If you can imagine it, the chances are, it will be there.

Events in 2016 will include readings, poetry and workshops.
